Celia Perrin Sidarous’s photographs document objects and people set against a backdrop of everyday occurrences and peculiar events. The ongoing body of work presented in the exhibition Les Choses began in the artist’s studio at The Banff Centre during a thematic residency in 2010. Perrin Sidarous is the 2011 recipient of the Barbara Spohr Memorial Award for Photography, presented to exceptional Visual Arts alumni on a biennial basis.

Presented in collaboration with EXPOSURE, an annual celebration of Canadian and international photo-based work featuring exhibitions and educational events in Banff, Canmore, and Calgary throughout the month of February.
